No. Here in the UK a counsellor, psychotherapist, or psychologist is not able to prescribe medication. This is solely the domain of psychiatrists, who train as medical doctors before specialising in mental health disorders.

If, however, your therapist feels you could benefit from medication, we can then refer you to a psychiatrist, or the therapist may be able to refer you to a psychiatrist as well.
