Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is currently the most popular therapy in the UK, and is proven by research to help with issues like depression and anxiety.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is gaining in popularity and is particularly suited by those who struggle to maintain relationships or are very emotional.

Note that a therapy’s popularity has nothing at all to do with its effectiveness compared to other forms of therapy, nor does it affect which therapy will suit you individually. We have articles here and here if you would like to explore other types of therapy.
