Please only use the instructions below if you have been provided with a voucher code from the Healthcare Workers Foundation.

If you are an NHS employee looking to book a one-off Support Session, please see our help article here

Booking an Initial Session

Once the Healthcare Workers Foundation (HWF) has shared a voucher code with you, the first step is for you to book a one-off complimentary Support Session for NHS staff.

To do this, you will need to go to this page to enter your NHS email address to login and view our currently available therapists.

If you do not have an NHS email, please contact HWF to share your details (first and last name, personal email address, mobile number, and date of birth). HWF will then share these details with the Harley Therapy team so we can create an account for you so you can log in.

Once logged in, you will be taken to the page below - please ensure that the "Free Support Sessions?" option at the very top of the Refine Search filters on the left-hand side of the page remains selected so you are not asked to pay for your initial session.

You may also want to sort the search results by cost on the right-hand side of the page.

You can use the Refine Search filters to narrow down which therapists would be the best match by entering the issues you are seeking help with, and any preferences or requirements such as video or phone sessions, type of therapy, gender of the therapist etc.

When you have found a therapist who feels like a good fit for you, you can choose a date/time in the therapist's profile and proceed with booking the session :

After clicking the purple Book Session button, you will be asked to review the date/time selected and to enter some information about what you are seeking help with under the Your Details section before completing your booking in the final section.

Please review the Terms & Conditions for Clients linked on the booking page before completing your booking, including the 48-hour Cancellation Policy

Once completed, you will receive an email letting you know that your booking has been received, and a second email once the therapist confirms your booking in their account, noting the full session details and the therapist's contact details.

For 2024, HWF is covering up to £55 per therapy session, so while this initial one-off Support Session is free of cost, we would recommend choosing a therapist who charges £55 or under to ensure you can continue follow-up sessions with the same therapist.

If you choose a therapist who charges more than £55/session, you would be able to continue to meet with that therapist, however, you would need to cover any difference in fees for follow-up sessions (ie. if a therapist charges £65/session, you would need to cover the £10 difference).

Continuing with Ongoing Sessions

After you have booked your complimentary support session, please reach out to the Harley Therapy team to share your HWF voucher code via the live chat, or by emailing [email protected].

We will then be able to apply this voucher code to your account, so it applies automatically to the follow-up sessions with your chosen therapist. The code will apply for up to 5 follow-up sessions in total.

If you do not feel that the therapist you originally booked a one-off complimentary Support Session with will be a good fit for you for ongoing sessions, please contact the team via the live chat or by emailing [email protected] so we can assist with this.

After all of your 5 voucher sessions have been attended, you can continue to meet with the same therapist by adding a payment card to your account here. Please contact the team if you need any help with this.
