You can bring any issue at all to a therapy session. 

There is nothing off limits, and your therapist will protect your privacy, barring if you share that you intend to hurt yourself or others or have committed a serious crime. In such a case, he or she is legally required to contact the right parties or authorities. 

(Note that admitting to taking drugs is not considered a crime in the context of therapy.)
