When clients book their initial session, they agree to a standard set of Therapist to Client Terms & Conditions found here.
You do not need to send a separate contract to clients, as the T&Cs are designed to cover most of the standard terms that would be included in a therapist's working agreement with a client.
If you have any specific additional boundaries or practicalities you want to make clients aware of, we recommend discussing these with the client during the initial session so they fully understand how you work, and reiterating via email if they continue sessions with you.
Please note, however, that payment terms cannot be changed, so for example, you would not be able to request that clients give more than 48 hours' notice to cancel or rearrange sessions or end therapy. This is to avoid issues with payment disputes and client complaints, as clients agree to those specific terms when adding their payment details. Reports of clients being asked to agree to alternative payment-related terms will lead to therapist profiles being reviewed and, in some cases, potentially closed.
