How to book an Initial Session with a Workplace Voucher Code

If your workplace has shared a voucher code with you, the first step is to find the therapist you wish to meet via our search page here

On the search page, you can browse through all of the available therapists, or you can use the 'Refine Search' filters to narrow down which therapists are best suited to your needs by entering different filters including (but not limited to) : 

  • the issues you are seeking help with

  • available dates/times

  • location or preferred session type (video/phone)

  • specific types of therapy

  • languages spoken

  • preferred gender of the therapist

You can also sort the search results by who is next available, cost, rating etc. 


How to Book the Initial Session

Once you’ve found a therapist you feel would be a good fit for you, you can view the therapist’s availability in their profile, and choose your preferred date/time (1) and the session location/type (2), then click the purple Book Session button (3) to proceed with booking your initial session :

From here, you will be taken through the booking process where you can review the session details (date, time and location/type) to ensure these are correct (1), enter some information about you and what you are seeking help with under Your Details (2), and then enter your voucher code by clicking 'Got a voucher?' (3) :

Once you have entered the voucher code, the payment page will update accordingly to show that either the entire session fee will be covered, or that £X amount has been discounted from the session fee with £X amount left for you to pay :

Now, all you need to do is finish entering your details and click the Book Now button to complete the booking.


Please note, you will be asked to enter your payment details even if your workplace will be covering the entire session cost for you.

This means that if you agree with your therapist to continue follow-up sessions after your voucher has been fully used up, they will be able to book those future sessions without any interruptions. No sessions should ever be booked for you that you do not agree to. 

If you prefer, you can delete your payment details in the Payment Method section of your account after your initial session has been booked.


Receiving your Session Details

After your booking has been submitted, you will receive an initial booking notification via email, and your therapist will be asked to log in to their account to confirm your booking.

Once the therapist has confirmed the booking, you will be sent a full confirmation email with the session details, the address if you have booked an in-person session (or link/details for online sessions), and the therapist’s contact details. 

You will also be able to access your Client Dashboard where you can edit your details, view your therapist’s contact details, and also complete the client Self-Assessment Questionnaire where you can share more information with your therapist about what you are seeking help with, any relevant history etc.


Continuing with Follow-up Sessions

If you continue to meet with the same therapist, the voucher will apply automatically to follow-up sessions booked by the therapist.
