Harley Therapy does not charge any subscription fees for therapists to join the website. Instead, therapists only pay commission on confirmed client sessions. The commission fee covers all card payment processing and admin fees so there is nothing extra on top of this.

Commission rates

At present, Harley Therapy Platform commission rates are:

50% + VAT on first sessions with new clients

10% + VAT on first sessions with clients invited by a therapist onto the platform

10% + VAT on follow-on sessions

From October 1st, 2021, Harley Therapy Platform commission rates will be:

100% on first sessions with new clients

10% + VAT on first sessions with clients invited by a therapist onto the platform

10% + VAT on follow-on sessions

What does the commission structure look like in practice from Oct 1st 2021?

With a session fee of £50, your first session commission fee will be £50, and £6 for each further session.

Client service fee (for new clients only) from 1st October 2021

From 1st October, 2021 any new clients to the platform will be charged a service fee for all bookings as follows:

6% of the session fee or a minimum of £5.95 if your session fee is under £100. (This includes VAT).

This service fee is necessary to cover the costs of providing administrative services and customer support from our dedicated UK-based team.

If you do not want to take on further clients under these new arrangements, please pause your account to stop receiving new client referrals using this link (you and your existing clients will continue being able to book new sessions through your dashboards).

Service fee for existing clients

Please note the new client service fee will not apply to sessions booked by existing clients who booked their first session with you before 1st October 2021.

When do I receive payment as a therapist?

Payments are made into your Stripe account immediately after the customer is charged before their session begins. Customers are charged when they make an initial booking for a session and 48 hours before the start of a follow-on session so you can always be confident a session has been paid for before it starts.

If a client's card fails they will be notified and will have time to resolve the charge before the session starts. If they don't manage to update their card the session will be cancelled and you will be notified.
